P.S. Janell whipped up that adorable cake like it was nothing! Pays to have a sister that makes wedding cakes!

My baby is ONE!!!!

From Heavan to earth she has come, our little Angel just turned one!

Ashlyn had her first birthday on Friday Nov. 19th. I can't believe how fast this first year has flown by. I have mixed emotions about her turning one, I love that she is a growing, healthy, happy little girl, and I can't stop her from getting bigger, but it is true what they say it goes by too fast. I get teary eyed when I think back to when they first put her warm little body on mine, and how awesome it was I could bring this tiny little miracle into the world. I had no idea how much I could love someone, she is my life, my whole world. And as sad it is to see her grow and change so fast, it is so fun to watch her try new things, and celebrate each little milestone! She took her first steps on Wed. Nov. 16th, I was so excited! I was screaming and cheering, she didn't know what the heck just happened, but I was so glad I was home to see it. Anyways we just had a small cha-bang for her birthday, I invited family over and we ate and enjoyed watching Ashlyn dig into her cake, and play with all her cousins and new toys. She didn't really know what was going on, and she was quite dainty with her cake, it wasn't the full on face plant I was expecting, She just dipped her finger in then licked the frosting, and kept looking around, wondering why everyone was looking at her... Saturday we went to the Keiyt Thanksgiving dinner at Chuckarama (wow I can't even spell it). It was fun to see everyone, even though I didn't know half of them... but the food was good, gotta love buffets! Next on our agenda is Thanksgiving, shopping on black Friday, MOVING IN OUR NEW HOME, then the NFR! So the next few weeks are going to be busy, but so fun. I will actually have some stuff to blog about! Anyways, enjoy the pictures!

A few random pictures...

October!

I can't believe October has already come and gone... Halloween was fun, I made sugar cookies and chili for our ward dinner and trunk or treat, then we took Ashlyn to the trunk or treat, she loved grabbing all the candy, she didn't quite get the concept down, but she started to get the hang of it! Then we just took her around to the grandparents. I haven't taken any new pics of the house, so I will have to do that today, but it's coming along good. Kelly already posted some pics, but I will too! We went and visited Keri and Kelly on Wednesday, it was good to see them again,we will always be BFF. We have been friends since before kindergarten, we grew up living across the street and were together close to everyday of our lives. I love you guys and I was blessed to have as good of friends as you.

Cant forget the house

Devin is doing all the trim and molding, and shelves today, and they are also doing the hard stucco today, then the colored next week, then cabinets, and all the flooring, and were done!

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the pumpkin patch last night, its just across the street from the RV so I thought we would check it out, it was so fun! They took us on a little hay ride, Ashlyn loved watching the tractor wheels, then we got to go pick out our pumkins and enjoy cider and donuts, and some cute pictures!

Up the Mountian

So I don't know why its only showing part of the picture when I download it... Any suggestions? At least we got Ashlyns arm ha ha.

Fall is here!

I love this time of year, its cooling off but there its still warm enough to enjoy the outdoors. I went to Monticello last weekend to see my family, it was so good to go home! Rachel and I followed eachother down so we got to meet up in Green River for a little break and let the kids move around. Unfortunaley I don't have any pictures back yet, Devin took our camera deer hunting, just incase he got a big one, so I had this little disposable one that we got at our wedding or something, it was so wierd going back to those, and having to scroll the wheel back before you take another one, then just hoping the picture turned out ok cause you cant review it and take another one. It reminded me how much technology has changed in such a short amount of time, and how thankful I am for digital! Anyways, me, my Mom and Ray bottled apple pie filling and salsa, it was good for me to learn from my mom, when she tried teaching me I "had better things to do" so now I hang onto every word, she knows so much and is such a great homemaker, my next task is crocheting, she taught me a while ago, but I have already forgotten... Then we just hung out, and went on walks, hit up the Shake Shack, its totally not the same, I ordered a southwest, which was my favorite sandwich there, and it wasn't have as good, I wanted to go back and make it myself (you shake shack girls know what I mean:)But my shake was good... Then we busted out the warm drinks and watched a movie and did our nails(besides dust he just watched the movie), and we stayed up talking in the bathroom with Dustin while getting ready for bed just like the old days. Its crazy how much life changes in such a short amount of time, but change is good and exciting. I miss my family and all our great memories, but I love all our new additions which has just made it bigger and better, and more memories. Anyways, here are some new pics, enjoy!

Ashlyn loved it too, she loves to play in the water, she is my little fish. Our house is coming along, I'm getting so excited! We will start the sheet rock next week, and hopefully it will go fast from there!
