The Final COUNT DOWN!!!!

I feel like so much has changed in the last couple months! For starters, and the most exciting news, is my little sweetheart is POTTY TRAINED!!!!!!! I started the week before christmas, which was a crazy time, but she has done awesome, we still have a few random accidents, but she has done great, and not having to by diapers for the last 2 months has been lovley. We also had the big change from the crib to a big girl bed, that on the other hand has not been so fun. Ashlyn is very very active and if you let her loose she will go without looking back. So the fact that she can get out of bed is really exciting to her, not so much for Devin and I... So we have some long nights, and our nap schedule is all thrown off, which gets me nervous with baby #2 due any time now. So if anyone has some helpful advice I would love to hear ;)But we are all getting so excited for the new addition in our life, I know it will bring about a whole new world of changes, but thats what makes life fun.And I get to have my mom stay with me for a whole week :) Last week I was almost at a 3 so hopefully I will keep progressing, but doubt she will come early... My due date is the 11th but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! We have been trying to spend time with Ashlyn and take her out before we start hibernation, so here are a few pics of things we have been up to!

Nothin like fishin in January

The weather has been so nice lately, we have been getting the campin/fishin itch and winter hasn't even started! We purchased our first little trailer, It will be so much fun to take out this summer, and have our own little place in the woods :)

My Birthday and New years!

This year on the 30th I turned the big 25! I know I am now officially closer to 50... But none the less, I look forward to my birthday every year, cause my husband really spoils me. We went to dinner of my choice, this year was PF Changs, then he took me shopping to get some pants, maternity this year... But I love it when he goes shopping with me, it means so much more when they take the time and hand you different styles and sizes, he is a big sweet heart and he spoils me like crazy! Afterwards we went and got ice cream, and just enjoyed being with eachother with out any kids. It's always a good reminder of why we fell in love. Sorry to be mushy but I love date nights! I took my camera, but forgot to take pics... All in all I had a wonderful birthday ;)
New Years!
Just to add to all the fun we through a new years party. Our good friends came over and we just talked, ate, and played games (my kind of party)It's always a good time when you get Devin and Gus together...

I have gotten behind again, so I will start with our christmas and go from there! We continued our tradition of getting our own tree. Both our families did, so it's a tradition we want to continue. It was a little harder being over 7 months pregnant, and a 2 year old but it's tradition right? We tried a new spot, cause the place we always go is super steep, and a lot of hiking. But we couldn't find any that compared, so after our second spot failed us, we retreated back to our original place. It took twice as long, but we found our tree :)





Christmas Eve!
This year was the first year we stayed in Nephi. We went to the Annual Jones christmas party for christmas eve. Then enjoyed our own little christmas morning at our house. It was so fun to watch Ashlyn search through her stocking (and ours), and she loved unwrapping presents! Her christmas vocabulary consisted of "Santa clause, reindeer, snowman, hot chocy, treats :) pooh bear,baby je je and jingle bells! It was so fun to be able to share this special time of year with her, and our family. Always my little helper in the kitchen


Afterwards all the kids started dancing to the music, hands down best entertainment of the night!

Christmas Morning

This is how our little munchkin spent the majority of her morning, she would rather be free of any restraints clothes bring.

We had a great christmas, and are so thankful for the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Thanksgiving!

We headed to Monticello for thanksgiving, we had so much fun see all my family. It was my grandpa Randalls 90th birthday, and we celebrated my grandparents 60th anniversary. There are 145 of us cousins, aunts, and uncles. With 4 on the way, and only 21 couldn't make it. So we had a great time! I have to give thanks to my grandparents for all their hard work, and their rightous example. Their posterity truly has been blessed. We were able to go to a session at the Monticello Temple, and the entire room was packed, wall to wall! It was so awesome to be in such a sacred place with my extended family, I think it was a small taste of what heaven will be like. I am so grateful for everything I have been blessed with, and most importantly my eternal family.

One year older and wiser too!

November 19th 2008, at 12:12am, our lives were changed forever. At 6lbs 8oz 18.5 inches long, our little girl arrived from heaven. And life hasn't been the same sense! A few things she has been up to the past year, she can run like crazy, loves to hop all over, feeds herself, comes up with new words everyday, say she sorry, give's everyone lots of hugs and kisses, getting really good at talking and communicating, pull her own pants up and down, and sit on the potty. I can't believe how much she has grown, it is always to fun to watch her grow and progress. But most of all I am grateful for her sweet tender spirit that blesses our lives daily. I love my baby girl and so blessed she chose me to be her mom. It has been a great two years Ashlyn and I look forward to many more, I LOVE YOU!
