Summer is almost gone :(

I can't believe August is on its way to over! We had a great summer though, Trevor and Chantell got married July 30st, we hit up the Ute stampede, the lake, the 4th, the 24th in 'Cello, and the Demolition Derby last week (they are so fun,anyone that hasn't been to one needs to go!). Then we took Ashlyn the to County fair and showed her all the cows,chickens,bunnys, and all the other little animals. When I showed her the pigs she started laughing at the noise they make, cause I always make that noise at home to make her laugh, so she thought they were so funny!Our house is coming along, I will post some pics, I'm getting so excited! Devin plans on it being ready around the first of December, so it will be the best Christmas present ever! I love that he can build things, I'm amazed at the end of the day how much he can accomplish and do, He is so amazing and such a hard worker, he goes to work all day, then comes home and works on our house till dark, I couldn't have dreampt of a better man and Daddy.Today we went up to Danilles baby blessing for Nora, she is so cute, we got to see Grandma and Grandpa Pace and all my other family we rarely see, so it was so fun to see everyone again! We went on a 4 wheeler ride up the mountain yesterday with Ashlyn, it was so pretty, I love the outdoors, but I can tell summer is coming to an end, but I love fall so I'm looking forward to it!

Summer fun!

Wow this summer has been so busy, but so fun, and going by way too fast! This past week was the good 'ol Ute Stampede, for those of you who don't know it's a rodeo here in Nephi, it is so much fun, the festivities start on Thursday, I put Ashlyn in her first "baby contest" it was kind of weird, it was fun to try but I don't think I will be doing it again, you just hold your baby in front of a judge for a couple minutes and thats about it... But the theme was "under the sea" so I made her a little mermaid costume, and that was fun to dress her up (and help me develop my sewing skills:) Anyways, then they have 3 parades and a carnival and 3 fun filled nights of rodeo! We had a good time, we took Ashlyn on the carisel she wasn't quite sure what to think, but she didn't cry so I think she liked it. She did good at the rodeo, but she is pretty warn out now. We have finally started on our house! I'm so excited to finally get going on it, Devin is such an awesome man, he wakes up anywere between 4 and 6AM goes to work, then works on our house all day, I don't know how he does it, but I thank God everyday for letting me find him. He is pouring the foundation tomorrow, then my Dad is coming up Thursday to do the plumbing, he is also such an amazing man, only a father would do that for me, it's a long drive for him, but I am secretly so excited to see him, and have him be in town, even if it's only for a couple days. We are headed down to 'cello this weekend, which I am so excited for! I haven't been home for way to long, so it will be so good to see all my family, especially my mom and dad, and to hang out at my house again, I don't know if any of you have heard the song "house that built me" by Miranda Lambert, but I can totally relate to it, and think of home everytime I hear it. Ashlyn is getting so big, I will finally post some pictures! She is crawling, and eats everything she sets her eyes on, and if your eating in the same room as her, you better expect to be sharing, cause she will look up at you with those big blue eyes, and smack her lips till she gets some. We opened the Snow Burst, it has been doing good, between that, Ashlyn, Devin, and our house I stay really busy. But it has been a fun learning experiance, and I love trying new things, so it's just another adventure in our life. Well thats a quick update with our lives, O P.S. Ashlyn is 8 months today! I can't believe how fast it has gone, our little angel has blessed our lives so much these past months I can't even express the love,appreciation and joy I have for her she truly is a tiny angel sent from God, and I thank him every day for her.
