Summer fun!

Wow this summer has been so busy, but so fun, and going by way too fast! This past week was the good 'ol Ute Stampede, for those of you who don't know it's a rodeo here in Nephi, it is so much fun, the festivities start on Thursday, I put Ashlyn in her first "baby contest" it was kind of weird, it was fun to try but I don't think I will be doing it again, you just hold your baby in front of a judge for a couple minutes and thats about it... But the theme was "under the sea" so I made her a little mermaid costume, and that was fun to dress her up (and help me develop my sewing skills:) Anyways, then they have 3 parades and a carnival and 3 fun filled nights of rodeo! We had a good time, we took Ashlyn on the carisel she wasn't quite sure what to think, but she didn't cry so I think she liked it. She did good at the rodeo, but she is pretty warn out now. We have finally started on our house! I'm so excited to finally get going on it, Devin is such an awesome man, he wakes up anywere between 4 and 6AM goes to work, then works on our house all day, I don't know how he does it, but I thank God everyday for letting me find him. He is pouring the foundation tomorrow, then my Dad is coming up Thursday to do the plumbing, he is also such an amazing man, only a father would do that for me, it's a long drive for him, but I am secretly so excited to see him, and have him be in town, even if it's only for a couple days. We are headed down to 'cello this weekend, which I am so excited for! I haven't been home for way to long, so it will be so good to see all my family, especially my mom and dad, and to hang out at my house again, I don't know if any of you have heard the song "house that built me" by Miranda Lambert, but I can totally relate to it, and think of home everytime I hear it. Ashlyn is getting so big, I will finally post some pictures! She is crawling, and eats everything she sets her eyes on, and if your eating in the same room as her, you better expect to be sharing, cause she will look up at you with those big blue eyes, and smack her lips till she gets some. We opened the Snow Burst, it has been doing good, between that, Ashlyn, Devin, and our house I stay really busy. But it has been a fun learning experiance, and I love trying new things, so it's just another adventure in our life. Well thats a quick update with our lives, O P.S. Ashlyn is 8 months today! I can't believe how fast it has gone, our little angel has blessed our lives so much these past months I can't even express the love,appreciation and joy I have for her she truly is a tiny angel sent from God, and I thank him every day for her. I will post some pic's now!

So I don't know why my pictures are so big... So if someone wants to give me a tip on how to make them smaller that would be great! Today Devin watched Ashlyn and I had a little me time and went shopping, and got some really cute close, and some fun eyeshadows! It was really warm today and got me so excited for summer! And look at me go, two posts within a week!

AHHHH!

So I just got done typing a very long detailed post, and I went to publish it, and apparently I wasn't connected to the internet the entire time! Thats why I don't blog and regularly update my blog, cause it ends up taking me 2 hours... Anyways, my hands are tired now, so I will give you a brief summary of what I just wrote... We are now back in Nephi living and Running the RV park that Devin's parents own, waiting to start on our home, we are plannning on building here if everything goes through with our financing. I like it here, I love small towns and the small town feel. Devin is still working for his dad doing construction, and recenlty started a new job selling granite countertops, It's nice cause he can still work full time for his dad, and do that on the side. So if anyone knows anyone that needs countertops, let me know! Ashlyn is getting so big! She will be 5 months on the 19th of this month, she is so close to rolling over, and loves to grab things, especially my cereal bowl and paper. She loves to smile and laugh, and when her dadddy sings "intsy bintzy spider" to her (ya I know it a remake of itsy bitsy...) Ilove being a mom, I had know idea what I was missing out on, I thank Heavenly Father everyday for our sweet little family. Easter was fun, we spent it out at the sand dunes with Devin's big family, we took Ashlyn for her first 4-wheeler ride, shehad fun, and so did the rest of us. Then my parents came down Sunday and stopped by on their way home, it was my Dad's birthday on the 3rd, he is already 54! Time is going by so fast... It was so fun to see them,so I'm glad they stopped by. A couple weekends ago we went to St. George, it was warmer there so we were able to take Ashlyn out to play, she loved looking at the new world around her, and the blue sky. I can't wait for summer and the warm weather so we can take her out more and play! I will now attempt to post some pictures... with me luck! :)

Back in Santaquin!

So we are officially settled back in Santaquin, I love our house, Devin has been working hard on getting the yard ready so we can have a lawn, hopefully we will be able to get that in within the next week or so. We don't have the internet right now so it's even harder for me to update my blog, but I will give a breif overview of what we've been up too. I am now 6 months along, and we are having a baby girl! We are both so excited, it will be so much fun. We went down to 'cello for the 24th, it was so fun to see all my family and friends that were down. We had my baby shower while we were down there, I got lots of cute clothes and baby things to get me started, and plenty of advice from my friends and family! Then my mom came up this last weekend, so it was fun to see her and my Aunt Angela. We are getting excited for Nephi's demolition derby, I feel so red neck but I love it, it's so much fun! I will try to take some pictures and hopefully get some posted on here so you guys can see how big I'm getting! It has been fun being pregnant, I can feel her move a lot now, it's such an awesome feeling! Anyhow I have to go, but I will try to keep updated!
