P.S. Janell whipped up that adorable cake like it was nothing! Pays to have a sister that makes wedding cakes!

My baby is ONE!!!!

From Heavan to earth she has come, our little Angel just turned one!

Ashlyn had her first birthday on Friday Nov. 19th. I can't believe how fast this first year has flown by. I have mixed emotions about her turning one, I love that she is a growing, healthy, happy little girl, and I can't stop her from getting bigger, but it is true what they say it goes by too fast. I get teary eyed when I think back to when they first put her warm little body on mine, and how awesome it was I could bring this tiny little miracle into the world. I had no idea how much I could love someone, she is my life, my whole world. And as sad it is to see her grow and change so fast, it is so fun to watch her try new things, and celebrate each little milestone! She took her first steps on Wed. Nov. 16th, I was so excited! I was screaming and cheering, she didn't know what the heck just happened, but I was so glad I was home to see it. Anyways we just had a small cha-bang for her birthday, I invited family over and we ate and enjoyed watching Ashlyn dig into her cake, and play with all her cousins and new toys. She didn't really know what was going on, and she was quite dainty with her cake, it wasn't the full on face plant I was expecting, She just dipped her finger in then licked the frosting, and kept looking around, wondering why everyone was looking at her... Saturday we went to the Keiyt Thanksgiving dinner at Chuckarama (wow I can't even spell it). It was fun to see everyone, even though I didn't know half of them... but the food was good, gotta love buffets! Next on our agenda is Thanksgiving, shopping on black Friday, MOVING IN OUR NEW HOME, then the NFR! So the next few weeks are going to be busy, but so fun. I will actually have some stuff to blog about! Anyways, enjoy the pictures!

A few random pictures...

October!

I can't believe October has already come and gone... Halloween was fun, I made sugar cookies and chili for our ward dinner and trunk or treat, then we took Ashlyn to the trunk or treat, she loved grabbing all the candy, she didn't quite get the concept down, but she started to get the hang of it! Then we just took her around to the grandparents. I haven't taken any new pics of the house, so I will have to do that today, but it's coming along good. Kelly already posted some pics, but I will too! We went and visited Keri and Kelly on Wednesday, it was good to see them again,we will always be BFF. We have been friends since before kindergarten, we grew up living across the street and were together close to everyday of our lives. I love you guys and I was blessed to have as good of friends as you.
